Stellar aircraft!
I recently flew this little flying hippie campervan from KSEA all the way over the Inside Passage to PAJN, a three day journey using multiplayer.
Just after the first leg the aircraft really started to grow on me. It's different from any other amphibians, relatively spacious, just not too slow and has great visibility to absolutely stun yourself with great scenery along the way.
This is why I think it's an ideal hippiebus: Just fly the aircraft with 1 passenger. Now you can fold back the front seats and chill out without leaving the aircraft. Just image a day with nice wx, you just landed on a beautiful calm lake. Open up the front door, fold back the seats and enjoy your stay. A dream scenario for me.

The visuals are great, as well. I love the reflective surface effect. The textures suit the aircraft nicely and the cockpit contains almost everything you need.
It can land on lakes and airstrips, making this aircraft incredibly flexible for a cross country tour. It's a shame, but totally understandable, that these aircraft sell for very steep prices in real life. Still about 200 airworthy of over 1000 produced by Republic aviation over a period of 18 months during '46/'47.

Thank you for releasing this wonderful aircraft.

The exterior textures and modelling are beautiful and very efficient.  Discreet and unobtrusive pop-up menus provided for switches and animated doors etc.

Excellent frame rates in cockpit views.

5 stars and thanks.

Linux users may need a symlink to current version of libGLEW to get reflections plug-in working - and maybe rename the sounds/  "System" and "Engine" subdirectories to 'system' and 'engine' so SASL can find them.

Check log.txt for details.

This beautiful seaplane works great in XP10.42. Very well behaved. A pleasure to fly in the SF Bay Area.

Dear Denis and Nicolas, you just stealing all my nights flying for a long time the real CL300, and also in Xplane my number one Aircraft, now I have another small Toy.

Remaining time now is transferred from your Goose to the Silver Seabee to land on the Mediterranean Sea and in Mallorca's Seaplane Port. Another Peace of Art, but now its even harder waiting for the Global 6000 !!

Thanks ! Heinrich

Really great! I even heard blackbirds and seagulls, depending on the location, with engine off.

The Republic SeaBee RC3 keeps on having engine failure

I have been fkying Xplane for several years

The Republic SeaBee RC3 is a very nice plane

I know the basics of flying and for the most part what needs to be turned on to keep most planes flying

however this on keeps on having engine failure after very short time of flying

I have downloaded several planes in the past and never ran into this problem

This is the 1st plane that I've flown that the engine stops during flight

Is this plane set up by Defult to do that?

thankyou

A fun little plane I just added it to my X-Plane 11. One thing, though, which is probably my fault. Three times I've taken off on a lake, flown around a bit, then have had an alarm go off, checked outside and discovered I've got a serious engine fire. On each occasion, I've been able to reduce power and land back on the water safely. What am I doing wrong?

crash-not an option

I actually got my pilots license years ago by learning and practicing on a flight simulator and taking flight training at the same time. The old simulator flickered and was not nearly as great as x plane.  Of course the graphics on x plane are so realistic that I forget Im at home.  I see aircraft available to fly that I have never heard of in this program and more options added all the time.  This flight simulator is one of the greatest inventions of our times.  I practice about an hour a day.  I dont have the time or the money to put in flight time now.   X plane is the one I like.  Thanks..  crash-not an option

Looks like a great freebie. Thank you.

One question - the 'Download File' link appears to lead to two links for the same file - but one loads and the other gives a 404 message. Is this right

This airplane is very cute. I can reliably landing anywhere on it. It is my partner. Thank you!
